The Heritage Hill Lifestyle

“Life takes place in the streets” – the saying that was pivotal to the thinking behind the 25 fountains, 3 large street squares, fruit orchards and street features in the first residential phase at Heritage Hill. Dennis Moss, an urban design and landscape architect and the Developers that the estate used in the early design stages, decided to design each street individually, and created street chambers to appeal to all the senses. The traffic is also channelled via narrow streets to areas where the road opens up again and surprises the motorist or pedestrian with a street square, shapely fountain or a fruit orchard.

Some of the lifestyle benefits for our residents to enjoy include:

  • Mainly indigenous street trees have been planted throughout the estate
  • 30 Parks, 4 with children’s play equipment
  • A Lemon Orchard as well as an Olive Orchard

Social Responsibility

At the same time “a slice of life” has highlighted the needs of certain NGOs that benefit from various functions and fund raising events. We pride ourselves in a community that is supportive of these events and some charities that we have worked with in the past include CHOC, Klein Hannes Fanus Trust Fund, the SPCA and , Boikanyo Home (Children with Special needs), Olievenhoutsbosch Community Centre in co-operation with Child Welfare Tshwane and POPUP
